HOLLYWOOD - Time is on the side of Napster … at least for now anyway. A federal appeals court granted the online MP3-swapping site an emergency stay earlier today, allowing it to remain in business until a formal appeal is heard.
The reprieve came just hours before the anticipated shutdown of Napster, which was decreed by a court injunction handed down Wednesday.
