Lauren Conrad has no regrets about leaving hit reality show The Hills -- after her debut novel topped the New York Times Best Seller list.
The 22-year-old decided to quit the show earlier this year after living her life out in front of the cameras for five years.
She was instantly bombarded with job offers, first launching her own clothing line, then landing a three-book deal for a series of young adult fiction novels.
And it seems Conrad has found her niche -- her first novel, L.A. Candy, has topped the prestigious book chart for the second week in a row.
She says, "If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn't have believed it. I am so honored that it is now a reality."
